Clean Election Candidate

After choosing the Clean Elections option, the candidate must gather signatures and $5 contributions from voters in their district.

The Clean Election candidate must agree NOT to accept private contributions.

Signatures and $5 contributions required:

  • 3000 for Governor

  • 1500 for Lt. Governor

  • 400 for State Senate

  • 200 for State House

Does this candidate qualify for Clean Election funds?

yes

If the answer is no, they can choose to become a Privately Funded Candidate or end their campaign.
